There are simply not enough words to describe how absolutely wonderful this wedding turned out! It took place at Olde Dobbin Station, and if you've never been out there, you are missing out on one of the most breathtaking venues around. It is simply stunning. But it wasn't just the venue that made the day so lovely, it was a combination of the family, vendors and the outward expression of the couple's faith that made these nuptials spectacular from start to finish.
Family is obviously important to these two. They had several special cakes made to celebrate various birthdays and others' anniversaries at the reception. Both Ben and Abigail included all of their family in the bridal party. They demonstrated the importance of their faith by donating money to one of their faith charities in lieu of party favors. This was communicated to guests on cards laid at the tables as well as information about the organization being put out for people to read.
The ceremony and the dining part of the reception took place in the same area. Once we finished the nuptials, our team moved chairs and tables and set up decorations in record time while the family took pictures. While we were doing this, the guests mingled on the dance floor side of the room for cocktail hour. After we introduced the bridal party, dinner was served by Napa Flats. They made numerous small pizzas that were so delicious and guests could even special order them if they wanted. The gorgeous and delicious cakes were prepared by Happy Cakes. The amazing florals were created by Yellow Thistle Design. Music and entertainment was provided by JRCL DJ Services. Linens and other rentals came from Events to Remember.
We were very pleased with how everything turned out. The bride's mother raved about the job we did, and most importantly, Ben and Abigail were able to relax and enjoy their most special day without a care in the world!
