Jody & Ashley were married in St. Thomas Aquinas Church where they have a coordinator on staff, so I was hired to decorate the reception at the beautifully rustic Moore Ranch as well as coordinate the reception. This venue was the perfect location for their shabby chic style reception. The bride's mom went all out in decorating the entrance room with an antique dresser, a door with the bride's portrait on it, her wedding dress, and numerous pictures of the bride and groom. The delicious desserts and cakes were provided by Sandee's Sweets, bouquets were made by Post Oak Florist and dinner was a delicious creation from Design II. Our MC for the evening was Mike with Over the Edge Entertainment with memories being captured by Renewed Image. The furniture was rented from Ashley & Company, linens and dishes from Events to Remember and Luke's provided the bartending. Overall, it was a lovely evening with beautiful weather which was so nice that most of the guests spent their time outside on the back porch. I enjoyed working with this bride and her mom. It was truly a privilege, and the following day, Jana sent me the sweetest email which said,
"I just wanted to say thank you for all your help with the reception. I think it was awesome. I also wanted to apologize for anyone who got in your way of coordinating. I have a lot of family and friends who think they need to be in charge. I was very happy with everything."
That's all I need.
Please enjoy the pictures that I took from my point of view.
