Mike and Linette

November 5, 2016

When you think of the perfect couple, it is very easy to think of Barbie and Ken or a couple from a Nicholas Sparks book. However, you need to meet Mike and Linette. Both the bride and groom had been married previously but never had the full wedding experience. So, this time around they both wanted to do it right because they were finally with the right person. Mike and Linette tied the knot on the anniversary of their first date. We planned each detail with this precious couple for over a year to make it perfect.

Talk about a perfect groom! A man like Mike is what you want, ladies! Since these two are more established adults with kids of their own, paying for the wedding was up to them. However, this did not stop Mike from spoiling his bride in anything she wanted for their big day. This man showed his adoration for Linette through every venue, floral, and cake meeting.

After so much planning, the big day was almost here and there was rain in the forecast. Good luck in the eyes of some, a total disaster in the eyes of others, but another wedding in the eyes of the wonderful staff at Astin Mansion. We held the rehearsal indoors and swooned as Mike cried through the whole event. It was such an honor to witness the sweetest of love in such a pure form. This sweet couple was flexible and truly just happy to get married to one another.

The vendors for this wedding really reflected the couple’s happy outlook on life. Astin Mansion worked with the couple on the flowers, design, and food to get every detail perfect. Having so many services provided by one vendor was very helpful to a couple that both had full time jobs; it really took away some stress! San Angel Photography was so sweet and even went out to Mike and Linette’s farm for engagement photos. They also designed the save the dates and took pictures of the whole rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Cakes by Blondie made an amazing and delicious cake that showed off the personality of the couple.

Mike’s mom, who is very frail, was the flower girl and as she was wheeled down the aisle, very few people were left with a dry eye. And if that did not make you cry, then watching Mike and Linette tear up brought tears to your eyes. The couple soaked in each moment of the wedding. They talked to all their guests, enjoyed family pictures, tried all the food, and danced until everyone was gone. It was the perfect wedding for the perfect couple, and the rain even stopped just in time for the ceremony!

And the very best part? Receiving the following"thank you" from the bride on our Facebook page.

"The name of this company is a perfect match for the wonderful ladies that helped us throughout our wedding journey. If it were not for them, we could not have had such a magical night! I can not say how awesome the experience was or how grateful we are to both Erin and Adaline. Words do not express the pleasure it has been to work with both of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

That's all we need!
