Kara and Kenny’s wedding was very special for us to be a part of because Kara has been working with Wonderfully Wed for three years. Kara is the most positive, energetic, and fun-loving person you will ever meet. She is a hard worker and we are so grateful to have her on our team. Considering how many weddings Kara has worked in three years, we can all imagine how experienced she was when it came to planning her own wedding.
Kara and Kenny first met at a party that Kara’s roommate, Sarah Perkins invited her to. The first words Kenny said to Kara was “there is a girl I do not know”, and the rest was history. The next year and a half consisted of wonderful dates filled with discussion of their faith, views, and life goals. Kenny professed his love for Kara and proposed to her on a mountain in Greece. How amazing is that proposal??
Kara and Kenny’s wedding was absolutely beautiful! Although the reception did not go as planned, because Texas weather is not always in our favor, the rain did not stop them from having a great time celebrating their love together. I must commend Kara for staying so positive about the rain because moving the reception to the church turned out to be so beautiful and enjoyable for all of her guests. There is something really special about a couple that has the Lord at the center of their relationship and after listening to the best man and maid of honor speeches it was evident that their friends and family had a lot to do with them growing in their faith. Kara and Kenny are perfect for each other and I can’t wait to see what their future holds. After all the weddings that Kara has coordinated, I know this was by far her favorite one! Hehe
