These two were one of the most, as my kids would say, chill couples we've ever worked with. Their focus was in the right place. They had carefully planned all their important details for their wedding, but in the end, the most important part of the day was the two of them uniting as one.
The ceremony took place on Memorial Day in the afternoon. It was a little warm, and the DJ's laptop over heated during the processional. Gratefully, the best man was set to play his guitar during the ceremony. So, Kara signaled him to start playing his guitar to provide music for the bride's processional. I was with Hailey when we decided to make the switch, and she didn't even bat an eye and just smiled and went down the aisle. The bride's mom is one of my high school class mates, and when I talked to about it afterward, she said that she thought that's how it was planned all along!
The couple opted for a "First Look" photo shoot, and the pictures turned out wonderful!
The Brownstone Reserve is an amazing venue with several scenic spots for great photos. I love all of the personal touches as shown here. And, I think you can tell where these two went to college...
Congratulations you two! We wish you the very best in your life together! We are so thankful to have been a part of your most special day!
