Carissa and Richard

Richard and Carissa's wedding was one that will not soon be forgotten! It went down in the books as one of my favorite weddings of all time (aside from William and Kate's of course because, hello, its the royal wedding). Richard and Carissa had a wonderful ceremony and reception that brought their two worlds and cultures together; Texas and Scotland. Richard's roots inspired the couple to incorporate Scottish tradition into their own outdoor wedding at the Bride's family ranch just outside of Anderson. The groomsmen wore kilts, and the couple hired bagpiper to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Personally, my favorite part was the Scottish Folk dances performed by the groom and his mom at the reception. The weather was perfect and the clear sky at night with the full moon hanging low in the sky made the reception in the field absolutely perfect. We were blessed with amazing vendors this weekend and many of them were also family friends. Frederic Larre crafted the beautiful vintage looking cake and Kailey Thompson Photography did an absolutely amazing job on the pictures. We absolutely loved how they turned out and just had to share them with y'all! Enjoy!
