Brant and Jessica are die hard Aggies. They graduated from Texas A&M, are season ticket holders for football games, and absolutely love their alma mater. Every detail of their wedding was planned around this fact. The date couldn't be a home football game weekend, or any game for that matter, but it had to take place in the fall. They wanted the ceremony and reception to take place on campus and they wanted a photo shoot at various locations on the University campus.
The location they decided upon was the University Club which is located at the top of Rudder tower, one of the highest locations at A&M. The facility has large windows and gives its guests a panoramic view of the entire campus. We ended up having beautiful weather that day, and the sunset was to die for. It turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Jessica and her bridesmaids also stayed on campus at the University Center Guest Suites.
Another detail of the day that highlighted the Aggie theme was the incorporation of maroon into the decor. And, of course, photos of their Aggie rings. Their beautiful and delicious cake was prepared by Fabulous Fare. All floral design was by Unforgettable Floral. The girls' hair and make up artists were from North Salon.
The University Club has three levels. After the ceremony, which took place on the top level, guests were invited downstairs for a cocktail hour while the couple posed for pictures on campus. During this time, our team worked to transform the ceremony area into a reception room with a dance floor, which was provided by Details Party Rental. Since the wedding was the Sunday before the holiday, guests were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal, prepared by the staff at the University Club. It was delicious! Downtown Event Services provided entertainment for the dancing. To top off the Aggie theme, we sent the couple off with personalized 12th Man towels that had the name of the couple and their wedding date printed on them.
All in all, the evening was absolutely perfect. We were able to seamlessly pull it off and got a sweet note from the bride later on as well as her mother, both raving about the job our team did to make Brant and Jessica's day as special as they dreamed.
